The Jacksonville Fair is relocating to the Westside — but not as soon as anticipated

The fair will return to its current fairgrounds for 2024, 2025 editions

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The 2024 Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair will begin Nov. 7 at the current Jacksonville Fairgrounds next to Everbank Stadium. Meanwhile, construction for the fair’s new location on the Westside is underway, according to officials.

In September, the city issued a permit for construction to start at a new location in the area on Normandy Boulevard east of the Jacksonville Equestrian Center.

Initially, officials said they expected to move to the new site by next fall. However, they announced Tuesday that the 2025 fair will also take place at the current fairgrounds on Fairgrounds Place.

“We are looking forward to welcoming our community to the 2024 and 2025 Fair in the same location we have been for decades, right next to the stadium and across from the arena,” said Bill Olson, CEO and President of the Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair. “Anticipation is high for the future venue, and we appreciate the enthusiasm for the move, which is planned to take place in 2026.”
