Tre Lyons was killed along with Cody Bennett in a shooting in Nov. 2023.

Lyons' family celebrated what would’ve been his 23rd birthday on Saturday.

Some of his family talked about who he was as a person.

“Kept everybody laughing pretty much, he worked two jobs, took care of his kids. He had just moved out and got his own place, starting to get more responsibility about himself. He was my headache too, but that was my job,” Kalisha Jefferson and family said.

They urged the community to speak up if they have any information as there have been no arrests made in the case.

“Please say something because if it was your family you would want to know by now, I mean it‘s going on a year somebody knows something. This town is too small for y’all not to know something,” Jefferson said.

You can call CrimeStoppers or the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office at (904) 824-8304. There is a $14,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest.
