Bus delays expected on Friday due to driver shortage in Camden County

CAMDEN COUNTY, Fla. – Camden County school buses will be delayed on Friday due to a shortage of drivers and the scheduling of high school athletic events.

The district wrote in a post Tuesday saying that this is a protective measure to ensure students’ safety.

The bus delay will affect afternoon bus services for the day.

If the delays impact schedules, parents and guardians are encouraged to contact their child’s school to make alternative pick-up arrangements.

“We appreciate your understanding and patience as we navigate these challenges to support all our students while prioritizing their safety and well-being,” the district wrote.
