ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Looking to get rid of documents, electronics or used cooking oil?
The city of St. Augustine is hosting its annual free community recycling event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Solid Waste Facility at 301 Riberia St.

The event offers residents the opportunity to shred documents (up to five boxes), recycle outdated or broken electronics, and dispose of used cooking oil.
Items NOT allowed
TVs or hazardous waste (paint, pesticides, tires or motor oil).
What IS allowed? (Acceptable recyclable items are):

- CD Drives
- Power Supplies
- Phone Chargers
- Cellphones
- House Batteries
- Tool Batteries
- Car Batteries
- Digital Cameras
- iPad & Tablets
- Stereos
- Printers/Scanners
- Copiers
- VCR/DVD Players
- Power Cords
- Christmas Lights
Recycling is available throughout the year during regular business hours.
Locations are The Solid Waste Facility, located at 601 Riberia St. for Electronic Waste and Cooking Oil can be brought to the Wastewater Treatment Plant at 501 Riberia St.
