The arrest follows a shooting that occurred Tuesday around 2:30 p.m. JSO said that around 10 to 12 students were arguing at the school when guns were drawn and multiple shots were fired.

As a result, a 21-year-old man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Surveillance footage helped identify Lowe as one of two men who were seen leaving the campus after the shooting, police said, adding that the two men drove off in a light blue Honda Accord.

Police say a teacher helped identify Lowe and the other man based on the clothing they were wearing in the footage.

An extended magazine was also found at the scene.

Police said they went to the apartment shared by Lowe and another individual before taking them in for questioning. While much of the incident report is redacted, it confirmed Lowe’s arrest.

Following the shooting Tulsa Welding School released a statement to News4JAX, which said:

“There was an incident that took place at our Jacksonville campus involving a few of our students. This was an isolated incident and there are no additional threats to our campus, students, and instructors. We are doing everything we can to support our TWS community. We have added additional security on campus and have counselors available to help support our students and staff during this time to ensure their wellbeing. We are thankful to local law enforcement for their quick response to the situation and we will continue to work with them to ensure they have everything they need during their investigation.”
