Free park-and-ride shuttles will begin operations Saturday for Nights of Lights in St. Augustine

Nights of Lights brings much-needed boost to St. Augustine businesses

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Free park-and-ride shuttles will operate for the Nights of Lights season starting on Light-Up! Night this Saturday.

The main shuttles for the North and West City will operate on Light-Up! Night from 1-11 p.m. from parking locations outside of the downtown Historic District.

Locations include the St. Johns County Health Department on San Sebastian View, Broudy’s Lot on West King Street, and the San Marco Lot on San Marco Avenue.

Passengers from these lots will be dropped off and picked up in the north drive-thru lane trolley entrance at the Visitor Information Center, 10 S. Castillo Dr.

Only for Light-Up! Night, free park-and-ride shuttle services will be expanded to include roundtrip service along Anastasia Boulevard from 4-11 p.m. from Anastasia Baptist Church on A1A South and R.B. Hunt Elementary on Magnolia Drive.

Passengers coming from Anastasia Island will be dropped off and picked up near the east end of the Bridge of Lions, at the corner of Gerado Street and Flagler Boulevard in North Davis Shores.

Shuttle services will continue through Thanksgiving weekend, Saturdays in December, the five days following Christmas, and Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025.

The Christmas Parade will start on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024, at 9 a.m., with shuttle operations beginning at 8 a.m. and ending at 11 p.m.
