Thanksgiving is quickly approaching, meaning many organizations and charities are helping families in Northeast Florida.
Florida was hard impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton this year, and with the rising cost of food, families are struggling.

To help make Thanksgiving a little brighter, News4JAX has compiled a list of giveaways and distribution events in our surrounding areas.
Duval County
Saturday, Nov. 23 at 8:30 a.m. — Farm Share to provide Thanksgiving Food to Jacksonville-area residents
Farm Share, Florida’s leading food nonprofit and the state’s largest food bank, will host a Thanksgiving food distribution event in Jacksonville this weekend to provide fresh produce, free turkeys, and non-perishable items to over 2,000 families in need.
The event will be a drive-thru distribution to prioritize safety and minimize contact, with attendees required to arrive in a vehicle with a trunk or cargo bed.

Monday, Nov. 25 at 8:30 a.m. — Turkey Giveaway with Pendas Law Firm
Pendas Law Firm will be giving away turkeys at 3250 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville on Monday, Nov. 25th at 8:30 a.m. during its 16th annual turkey giveaway event.

Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 11:30 a.m. — City Rescue Mission Thanksgiving Meal
City Rescue Mission will hold its annual Thanksgiving Meal for those experiencing homelessness at its New Life Inn Campus at 234 W. State St. in Downtown Jacksonville.
Clay County
Saturday, Nov. 23 at noon — Feeding the 5,000 Food Giveaway at First Baptist Middleburg
“Families from across our community in need of a Thanksgiving meal are welcome to drive through First Baptist Middleburg to receive prayer and one meal box that can feed a family of five (Limited to the first 1,000 families)."
Cars will be staged for the drive-through in the Parsonage Street Lot at First Middleburg and in the front lot of Clay High School for Family Church Green Cove.

Thursday, Nov. 28 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. — Feast of Plenty: Free Community Thanksgiving Meal
Area churches in Clay County will come together to serve the Feast of Plenty, a free, home-cooked Thanksgiving meal to any Clay County resident who needs one.
The event will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day at The Springs Church, the new Feast of Plenty location, at 900 Park Avenue in Orange Park.
St. Johns County
Friday, Nov. 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway with Resource Center Inc.
Must be present, come one come all in need.
