Thanksgiving is quickly approaching, meaning many organizations and charities are helping families in Northeast Florida.
Florida was hard impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton this year, and with the rising cost of food, families are struggling.
To help make Thanksgiving a little brighter, News4JAX has compiled a list of giveaways and distribution events in our surrounding areas.

“This event is for anyone and everyone who is looking to celebrate and give thanks with a group of people who might not have it all together, have more questions than answers, are wobbly and weak-kneed scalawags but who also know that there are many reasons to give thanks. Come by yourself or bring a crowd with you...either way, we’d love for you to join us!”
“We’ll eat a traditional Thanksgiving meal, have good conversations, tell stories and laugh, hang out and enjoy each other’s company. We’ll have the turkey, and you are welcome (but not required at all) to bring your favorite side dish! There is no cost for the meal or activities.”
