According to the National Weather Service, temperatures are expected to drop below 40 degrees during the overnight hours of November 22.

“It’s not even Thanksgiving, and we are getting hit with a cold snap. We urge anyone without adequate housing or adequate heat to come to the cold-weather shelter,” Health and Human Services Director Joseph Hegedus said. “The Sheltering Tree and the Rock Transformation Center will provide cots and meals. We are thankful we have cold weather shelter facilities to open in Flagler.”
