ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – It’s been dubbed the Disneyland of sporting goods stores.

Bass Pro Shops celebrated the grand opening of its St. Augustine Outdoor World store location in St. Augustine on Nov. 20.

Hundreds of community members gathered for their first look inside the 100,000-square-foot store.

The new retail store is on World Commerce Parkway in St. Johns County and is now the 13th Bass Pro Shops location in Florida. Located near International Golf Parkway and World Golf Village, the new store joins other major retailers, including Costco and Buc-ee’s, transforming the area into a commercial hub.
