ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – The Betty Griffin Center has announced ways to support those staying at its domestic violence shelter this holiday season.

Each year, the families are encouraged to fill out a ‘wish list’ for the holidays, which includes their ages, gender, clothing sizes, along with three gift requests and special interests and hobbies.

Donors can adopt a family of any size, whether it’s a single parent, a child or multiple families.

Additionally, donors can participate in the Betty Griffin Center Holiday Food Drive.

Donations of any nonperishable food items or grocery store gift cards can be dropped off or mailed to the Outreach office, located at 2450 Old Moultrie Rd., Suite 202, in St. Augustine.

Holiday food donations will be accepted through Dec. 23.
