JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Are you considering adding a furry friend to your family this holiday season? The Jacksonville Humane Society (JHS) and Animal Care and Protective Services (ACPS) will offer a Black Friday special from Nov. 29 through Dec. 1.
Both organizations will waive adoption fees during this event, according to a release.

Hundreds of dogs and cats will be available for adoption.
“Black Friday is all about savings. Why not save a life this season?” said Denise Deisler, CEO of JHS. “The holidays are a wonderful time to welcome a new member into the family, and we look forward to seeing many animals from both JHS and ACPS find their new homes this weekend!”

Hours of operation
JHS: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day. Friday, Nov. 29, through Sunday, Dec. 1. *Closed on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 28.
ACPS: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 28; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30 and Sunday, Dec. 1.
Some additional fees may apply. All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated before adoption.
