PALATKA, Fla. – A 63-year-old man from Palatka was killed Thursday and a 40-year-old man was injured in a crash on State Road 207, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
The two-vehicle crash happened around 7:40 p.m. on Thanksgiving, according to an FHP report.

According to the report, a 63-year-old man driving a silver sedan stopped at a stop sign on Cracker Swap Road before driving across the northbound lanes and into the southbound lanes of SR 207, where he collided with a silver SUV traveling south in the right lane.
The collision caused the driver of the sedan to be ejected from the vehicle. The 63-year-old man died from his injuries.
Authorities have not released the identity of either driver as the investigation continues.
