Girvin Road in the Blackhawk Bluff Subdivision
One of the largest Christmas light displays in the Jacksonville area is back. If you and the family are planning on driving around to view some holiday decorations, you’ll want to check out the Blackhawk Bluff neighborhood located West of Atlantic Beach.
Night of Lights in St. Augustine
The award-winning display will run each night through Sunday, Jan. 26, 2025. Thousands of people are guaranteed to check out the event that brightens 20 blocks of St. Augustine’s historic district. Click here for more information.
Deck The Chairs in Jacksonville Beach
The beloved North Florida holiday tradition Jax Beach Deck The Chairs (JBDTC) is celebrating 12 seasons promoting children’s arts and arts education. Deck the Chairs in Jacksonville Beach is back and was fully lit for the public on Wednesday, Nov. 27 for opening night at the Seawalk Pavilion. The free, six-week holiday event features more than 70 lifeguard chair exhibits decorated by the community and more than 40 children’s stage programs. The exhibit will light nightly from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. and will run until Jan. 1, 2025.
Glowing Gardens at Jacksonville Arboretum & Botanical Gardens
The Jacksonville Arboretum & Botanical Gardens announced its inaugural solo holiday light show, Glowing Gardens! From Friday, Nov. 29 through Sunday, Dec. 29, step into a Floridian winter wonderland this holiday season and enjoy this month-long celebration that transforms the Arboretum into a mesmerizing display of lights, sculptures, and more! Colors of the Wild at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens
Colors of the Wild, presented by Community First Credit Union, invites you on a captivating journey through a world illuminated by Asian lanterns. Step into a magical realm where artistry and nature intertwine, creating a breathtaking spectacle. Select Nights November-Feb. 9.

Holiday Nights: Dec. 5-24 (does not include Wednesdays). Visit with Santa, interact with holiday characters and even make your own ornament to take home with you. Plus, enjoy live music, a DJ dance party and special holiday treats.
City of Jacksonville’s Christmas Tree
The City of Jacksonville’s Christmas Tree is lit! You can see it in all its glory at James Weldon Johnson Park. The energy-efficient, 56-foot Christmas tree boasts over 78,000 LED lights, 150 ornaments and has been a staple in Downtown Jacksonville’s holiday traditions for the last 34 years. More info
Nocatee-A-Glow events in December
Nocatee-A-Glow runs the entire month of December at Spray Waterpark and Nocatee Station Field. Family-friendly festivities included a Christmas village, various musical and dance performances, visits with Santa & Mrs. Claus, horse-drawn carriage rides, a petting zoo, food trucks and much more. Beauclerc Rd right off of San Jose
This local family goes above and beyond every year! Be sure to check out this walk-thru display in Mandarin. This display is free to look at. Parking is roadside, so be sure to be careful when getting in and out of the car!
Children’s Christmas Party of Jacksonville
Thousands line up each year to ensure their children have toys, books, clothes, etc., ahead of Christmas. As always, the event will be held at our original venue, which is the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center in downtown Jacksonville.

Jacksonville Walk-Thru Holiday Light Show on Losco Road
Eric Bumgarner and Johnny Dunning created an incredible lights display at 5084 Losco Road. “All the lights are synced to music, which can be heard when standing outside or by tuning into an FM station that we have transmitting out to the road,” Bumgarner said.
Southcreek Lights in St. Johns County
This incredible synchronized light/music display is located at 1749 Southcreek Drive St. Johns, FL. 32259. There are 64 Channels of lights, 30 songs and individuals can tune in to the show by listening to 103.1 FM. The show runs approximately 1 hour, 40 minutes. Hours: 5:30 PM - Midnight, 7 days a week.

REMINDER: Jax Illuminations announced back in August that it will no longer host this event.
“It is with mixed emotions that we announce the closing of Jax Illuminations. After many wonderful years of bringing holiday cheer to Jacksonville, we have made the difficult decision to close,” a post said.
