Vice President Harris delivers remarks at the Tribal Nations Summit

WASHINGTON – Vice President Kamala Harris delivered remarks at the Tribal Nations Summit Monday afternoon at the Department of the Interior in Washington.

President Joe Biden is expected to speak at the event at 3:45 p.m.

The Tribal Nations Summit, established by Executive Order 13647, is the flagship annual convening of the Federal government and Indian Country.

The summit brings together the President, their Cabinet, federal executive agency heads, and leaders invited from all federally recognized Tribes for direct government-to-government dialogue of the Federal governments Indian Country policy priorities, and to hear from Tribes their own priorities, in order to develop Indian Country agendas for the future.
