Xfinity services in St. Johns County restored Thursday night after hours-long outage

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Thousands of Xfinity customers were experiencing an outage Thursday night across St. Johns County.

The Xfinity online outage map showed at least 2,000 St. Johns County customers were without service since 10 a.m., but by 7:10 p.m., the website said the services were restored.

The St. Johns County School District was also affected by the outage.

It said in a Facebook post that the unexpected outage disrupted internet and telephone services for several schools and facilities.
