SpaceX to launch Falcon 9 rocket Friday night from Cape Canaveral

CAPE CANAVARAL, Fla. – SpaceX has announced the target time for the next launch of its Falcon 9 rocket from Florida’s Space Coast on Friday night.

The SpaceX Falcon 9 is set to launch the RRT-1 mission from Complex 40 (SLC-40) in Cape Canaveral on Friday at 8:04 p.m. This is expected to be the fourth flight for the first-stage booster being used in this launch, which was previously used to launch Crew-9 and two Starlink missions.

According to the 45th Weather Squadron, there is a 20% chance that the launch may be postponed. If that occurs, the next available launch window will be on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 7:59 p.m.

“This is the fourth flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched Crew-9 and two Starlink missions.,” Space X said. “Following stage separation, the first stage will land on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.”
