Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office searching for missing 11-year-old boy

Police said Jaylen Lamar Wright was last seen around 8 p.m. on Saturday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said it is searching for 11-year-old Jaylen Lamar Wright on the city’s Southside.

JSO described Wright as Black, 5 feet and 7 inches, and 145 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

He was last seen wearing a red Nike jacket with gray sweatpants while leaving his family’s temporary residence around the 8000 block of Baymeadows Road.

“Detectives continue to work diligently on this case; however, due to the victim’s age, we are asking for assistance in ascertaining his safety,” JSO said. “If you reside in the area, we ask you to check any cameras, vehicles, and property for Jaylen.”
