However, there are stipulations on where permits can be issued.

Eligible restaurants must be located between Second and Sixth Avenue North and between First and Second Street.

The decision came after city leaders launched a successful sidewalk dining test program at Jekyll Brewing and Oaxaca Club.

Both restaurants are side-by-side and located on 2nd Avenue North.

Other restaurants eligible for sidewalk dining may include:

  • Lynch’s Irish Pub on 1st Street North
  • The Ritz at 2nd Street North and 3rd Avenue North
  • V Pizza at 1st Street North and 5th Avenue North
  • O-Ku at 1st Street North and 4th Avenue North
  • Surfer Bar at 1st Street North and 2nd Avenue North
