PALATKA, Fla. – Palatka embraced the holiday season with its annual Jingle Jam at Riverfront Park on Saturday.
The event, which began at 4 p.m., is designed to bring the community together for family-friendly festivities.
Organizers anticipate between 600 and 1,000 attendees. The park buzzed with holiday cheer, and featured photo opportunities with Santa, ornament-making, and even a chance to interact with the Grinch.
For families, there were plenty of activities to enjoy. Visitors were able to take a festive train ride around the park, create balloon characters, bounce in inflatable houses, and explore various vendor booths.
Palatka resident Christy Lowe shared why she values these events, saying, “Being from this county, it means a lot to show that the city cares for its people and wants to give something back.”
The evening will culminate with a fireworks display at 8 p.m., providing a spectacular end to a day filled with community spirit and holiday joy.
