ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A water main break in Nocatee caused some St. Johns County residents to experience water issues on Friday night.
Multiple residents told News4JAX they did not have water and wanted to understand what was happening.

According to a JEA spokesperson, a water main break on Nocatee Parkway, just east of US-1, caused the water interruptions.
The utility company said crews were en route, but it did not provide a time frame for a resolution.
JEA does expect to issue a boil water advisory to affected residents shortly.
Residents are urged to pay attention to their emails and text messages for updates.
