JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – She’s one of the hottest stars on Smackdown who will be in Jacksonville for the WWE Holiday Tour Dec. 26 at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. We’re talking about Michin (also known as Mia Yim). The popular superstar will be there for thousands of fans but not only in Jacksonville, the tour will hit multiple cities.
And along the way Michin is in the middle of her own personal journey, pursuing the U.S. Title.
Frustratingly, she was unsuccessful when WWE returned to NBC for Saturday Night’s Main Event earlier this month and lost to Chelsea Green. Something she plans on fixing in weeks to come.
“I feel like here winning just made her a bigger target in my eyes,” said Michin. “So she can take that as she will. She can go celebrate and have her moment. But it is not going to be for long.”
And Michin is looking to 2025 as a breakout year. “I’ve got the momentum behind me,” she said. “2024 was a year of recognition for people to know what I can do and bring in new eyes. And year 2025 is going to be a year of redemption. So I’m going after, like I was so close to that women’s U.S. Championship that I could taste it. So, I’m not going to stop until I get it.”
But on Saturday Night’s Main Event, there was something that was important to her that fans may have missed. It was the jacket she wore to the ring. Specifically a jacket for the HBCU she attended Virginia Union University.

“I hold Union close to my heart because it was the first time that I’ve ever moved out of a house. Lived on my own,” she said. “And to be in that environment... I’ve dealt with so much growing up and it was the first time where I actually felt accepted and a part of something big.”
In this interview, Michin will also sound off on multiple other WWE Superstars including Tiffany Stratton, Natalya, Jaida Parker and more.
