FHP said the crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. A vehicle, which was being driven by a 32-year-old man and carrying a 2-year-old, was traveling north on County Road 228 approaching WM Barber Road while another vehicle was traveling south.

Both cars had a green light, FHP says, when the car traveling north began making a left turn onto WM Barber Road. The second car, which was being driven by a 26-year-old woman, struck the front of the first car and flipped over before coming to a rest.

FHP said the 24-year-old woman who died was not wearing her seatbelt.

All other injuries were deemed minor.
