Palatka native named to WWE Hall of Fame

Michelle McCool was surprised with news alongside husband The Undertaker

PALATKA, Fla. – Palatka native Michelle McCool was surprised Friday with an announcement that she’ll be entering the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Hall of Fame.

The news came as McCool and her husband The Undertaker (real name Mark Calaway) were on ESPN promoting the new WWE LFG show debuting this weekend on A&E.

McCool taught Middle School in Palatka before entering WWE in 2004. She went onto several years of success, fame and even world titles for the company.

McCool (45) and Calaway wed in 2010.

The Hall of Fame ceremony will take place April 18 on WrestleMania weekend in the Las Vegas area.
