JEA promotes water conservation month with free kits for customers

JEA aims to educate customers on how they can save Florida’s water resources, money with free kits

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – April is water conservation month in Florida, and JEA is reminding customers about the importance of conserving water.

JEA is providing free water conservation kits to customers. The kits include equipment that will help customers reduce their water consumption.

The kit includes:

  • 2 high-efficiency shower heads
  • 1 garden hose nozzle
  • 2 bathroom faucet aerators
  • 2 toilet leak tablets (to help determine whether there’s a leak)
  • 1 kitchen faucet aerator

The easy-to-install products are available to all JEA water customers upon request.

Water conservation kits can help customers save gallons of water per year per household and up to $75 per year on water bills, according to JEA.
