St. Johns County to host meeting for community feedback on upcoming fire station, sheriff’s office substation project

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – St. Johns County officials will host a public meeting on Thursday to give information and gather community feedback on the upcoming Fire Station 22 and Sheriff’s Operation Center Project.

According to the county, the meeting will allow residents and neighborhood association members to ask questions, voice concerns and offer suggestions about the project.

The 20,000-square-foot facility will be on Saint Johns Parkway in St. Augustine, and it will include a 3.5-bay fire station and offices for a regional Sheriff’s Operation Center.

The project is scheduled to begin with early clearing this spring, with construction set to begin in the fall.

Completion is expected by the end of 2026.
