1 person in critical condition after crash involving burning semi-truck on I-95 in St. Johns County

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – All lanes on Interstate 95 at mile marker 310 in St. Johns County reopened after a crash involving a semi-truck that caught fire.
Florida Highway Patrol said the semi was traveling south on I-95 in the center lane and for unknown reasons, the driver steered left, crossing the left lane and traveling into the center median.

The semi struck the center guardrail, overturned on top of the guardrail and became engulfed in flames, FHP said.
The truck came to a final rest in the center grass median on top of the guardrail on its left side facing south.
St. Johns County Fire Rescue said that one person has been transported in critical condition to a local burn center.
