Investigators find meth, marijuana in 32-year-old's home

Investigators found drugs in the bathroom toilet while serving a search warrant at a Kingsland home.

KINGSLAND, Ga. – Deputies in Camden County arrested a 32-year-old Kingsland woman last week on drug, theft and tampering with evidence charges.

Investigators said they were executing a search warrant at Jennifer Emahiser's home on Wren Road, and as deputies were clearing the master bedroom, a sergeant could hear flushing coming from the bathroom.

Deputies said the sergeant went into the bathroom to prevent the destruction of evidence, and he found Emahiser trying to flush a variety of illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia down the toilet.

The sergeant ordered Emahiser to the ground, and she eventually complied, deputies said. They said the sergeant found suspected marijuana floating on top of the toilet water and white powdery substance scattered around the bathroom floor.

Investigators said apparently Emahiser had tried to flush the drugs and stopped up the toilet. In In the toilet reservoir and scattered on the bathroom floor, deputies said they also found crystal methamphetamine, syringes and other tools used to take illegal narcotics.

Emahiser was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, theft by receiving stolen property, tampering with evidence and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
