Police said the person was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators said they learned several trailers, some of which had people inside, were struck by gunfire. They also said shots were fired at a group of people standing outside, but no other injuries were reported.

Police described the incident as a possible drive-by shooting. Witnesses told police that they saw a small, blue convertible, with three white men and one black man inside, heading west on Normandy Boulevard.

It's unclear whether there were multiple shooters.

The Sheriff's Office continues to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to call JSO at 904-630-0500. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS (8477).
