JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man is charged with murder in a deadly shooting in late October during a street party in the city's Lackawanna neighborhood, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office announced Friday.
James Dantzler, 31, was arrested on charges of second-degree murder and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.

According to police, Dantzler and Derrick Hill, 37, were at the street party on Fleming Street, near the intersection of Edison Avenue and King Street, the night of Oct. 29 when they got into an argument.
Police said Dantzler then shot and killed Hill.
Dantzler was booked into the Duval County jail on Friday.
