JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A fire call Tuesday morning at Love Grove Elementary prompted the evacuation of the school for about 30 minutes.
The first Jacksonville Fire Rescue units arrived at the school on University Boulevard South just after 11 a.m. Tuesday reported light smoke showing.

By 11:40 a.m., the children were back in the school, but JFRD still had personnel at the school. Firefighter said the cause was a faulty air handler in the kindergarten wing.
Due to the heat, multiple firefighters were rotated through to avoid any health problems.
