The police investigation led detectives to the 200 block of Northeast 12th Avenue at the Coco Walk Trailer Park in Homestead, where police raided the kidnappers' hideout, said investigators.
One armed woman was shot and killed and five men were arrested, said police.
"Once the detectives entered the residence, they came in contact with multiple subjects. There was a confrontation and a shooting," said Miami-Dade Police Lt. Rosanna Cordero-Studz. "There is a deceased female on the scene who was armed. She was shot and killed by officers. We were fortunate enough to locate these people who were kidnapped. They had been beaten."
The teens were taken to Homestead Hospital. Police said the teens have non-life threatening injuries.
