JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Sen. Rick Scott talked exclusively with News4JAX during a visit to Jacksonville on Friday about the need for Congress to put aside partisanship, address this nation’s economic problems and rein in inflation.
He discussed small businesses being the engine for local economies.
Scott recently returned from a trip to Israel and was left with some very vivid impressions. He discussed his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and was critical of the U.S. government’s pause in funding arms sales to Israel.
He also addressed comments made during a visit to New York to support former President Donald Trump. Scott was critical of Judge Juan Marchan’s daughter, who is not involved in politics.
