Santiago plans 2018 House re-election bid

After cruising to re-election in November, state Rep. David Santiago, R-Deltona, has become the latest incumbent lawmaker to open a campaign account to run again in 2018, according to the state Division of Elections website.

Santiago received about 59 percent of the vote as he defeated Democrat Robert Mann in November in Volusia County's House District 27.
