Dreams Come True of Jacksonville, northeast Florida’s local dream granting organization for children battling life-threatening medical conditions, surprised 17-year-old St. Marys, Georgia resident, Sophia Spencer, with her dream clarinet at the opening of the Jacksonville Symphony’s Friday, May 24 matinee Coffee Series concert. Sophia was presented with the R13 professional B-flat clarinet from Buffet Crampon USA President and CEO François Kloc. Buffet Crampon USA donated the clarinet as part of the dream organized by Dreams Come True. “I was completely fooled; it was a pleasant surprise,” expressed Sophia. “May 24 will go down as a special day in history for me.”
