JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Sallye B. Mathis Elementary School was chosen to receive a $50,000 grant from the Leonore Annenberg School Fund for Children, according to Duval County Public Schools.
Thanks to the funding, the school will be able to purchase new laptops, software, video recording devices and a 3D printer.

Sallye B. Mathis was one of three schools in the state identified by the Council for Education Change as a school that would benefit from the money.
The new equipment is expected to be delivered to the school during the summer break.
