JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – If your feeds are full of cat videos and reels, this movie screening is for you.
CatVideoFest, hosted by Springfield Kitty Cat Shack Rescue, is coming to Jacksonville this weekend. The cat rescue has partnered with Regal Avenues to show a documentary that will play countless adorable cat videos. Nope, we’re not joking.

“CatVideoFest is a compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and classic internet powerhouses,” the CatVideoFest’s website said.
The 75-minute reel of cat videos is family-friendly and can be enjoyed by anyone. It will be shown at Regal Avenues on Saturday, Sept. 7 at noon and Sunday, Sept. 8 at 1 p.m. Tickets are approximately $10 each.
Ten percent of the proceeds from movie ticket purchases will go to Springfield Kitty Cat Shack Rescue.
Since 2019, over $150,000 has been raised for local shelters in addition to adoptions, fostering, volunteer sign-ups and much more at shows, CatVideoFest said.
