JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Guns N’ Hoses Hockey Jax is an annual charity hockey event put on by the Jacksonville Association of Firefighters and the Jacksonville Icemen to raise money to support local charities.
River City Live was rinkside this weekend for the 10th annual hockey game showdown featuring local law enforcement, firefighters, National Guard members, EMTs and other first responders.
The game has grown over the last decade from 700 attendees to thousands and even had to move to a bigger venue and find a bigger partner: The Jacksonville Icemen.
“We do love to support our local first responders,” said Gerry Brown Jacksonville. “We like to give back to the community however we can.”
Team “Guns” came out with the win this year.
