JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As we bid farewell to Vic Micolucci, we can’t help but feel a twinge of sadness knowing we’ll miss his witty dad jokes, his steadfast commitment to covering local stories, and his uplifting spirit that always brightened our days here at WJXT.
In his new role at the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Vic will help build bonds between the community and JSO as the Communications and Community Engagement Executive. He will also serve as an advisor to the sheriff.
Vic’s departure leaves a void in our team, but his legacy of humor, passion for community journalism, and camaraderie will forever remain ingrained in our memories.
While we’ll miss his presence, we’re grateful for the time we shared and the inspiration he brought to our workplace.
Wishing Vic all the best in his future endeavors, knowing that wherever he goes, he’ll continue to make a positive impact!
