Family fun at The Clay County Fair

Since 1987, the Clay County Agricultural Fair has been delivering an event to Clay County and Northeast Florida that blends amusement with education within a familial ambiance. Indeed, encapsulating its ethos, the Fair’s vision is succinctly captured in the phrase “A Family A*Fair.” The Fair endeavors to serve as a platform for showcasing Clay County’s agricultural, educational, civic, and commercial endeavors, offering citizens a chance to collaborate and enjoy themselves. Volunteers constitute the backbone of the fair, as their unwavering commitment to contributing their time and skills remains integral to its triumphs.

Fair Information:

After gate admission most exhibits and attractions are FREE. Three exhibit buildings are used for commercial, non-profit and competitive exhibits.Clay County citizens are encouraged to enter the competitive exhibits to show off their talents and even possibly win money and/or a ribbon. Just click on the Participate tab to find the” Competitive Contest and 4H / FFA Shows” and find your favorite area for all the details.Midway Rides are available from Deggeller Attractions. They have provided midway entertainment for the fair since its inception. The midway features over 40 rides for young and old alike. Check out our daily deals for discount ride armbands.Main Stage entertainment is located in the Cattlemen’s Arena. Special entertainment is featured almost daily during the fair. Top national acts perform in this huge facility. All entertainment is FREE, however reserved seating is available for a small charge and can be done on-line.T-Mobile Community Stage is located east of Founders Exhibit Building #1. Entertainment and contests are held each day of the fair. Local talent performs in a relaxed atmosphere. Tables & shade are provided so guests can enjoy the fair food and entertainment at the same time.The EZone is located north of the Cattlemen’s Arena and east of the Exhibit buildings. The EZone’s focus is on Engaging, Educational and Entertaining elements in all of its activities.Daily entertainment, community stage acts, food court and contests are held in this area throughout the Fair. Tables & chairs and even water misters for cooling when its hot are provided so guests can enjoy all of the Ezone offerings.The Early Florida Village is a unique opportunity to step back in time to see Clay County life in the years past. During the fair each exhibit is live with demonstrators dressed in the era to provide guests with a live experience of how life was in Early Florida. Food samples, shade trees and sitting areas make the live history experience a real enjoyable treat. This is also home to our Little Red Barn, which features baby farm animals!Livestock is the foundation of the fair. Livestock exhibits provide everyone the opportunity to experience our true agriculture roots....after all, this is an agricultural fair. Today many guests have not had the opportunity to see farm life that’s so important to our American way of life. Agriculture is our lifeline for our food supply. Come check out our barn to learn and see!AG-Town - Ag Town’s purpose is to educate and entertain. It is a small town across from the livestock complex where farming is fun.We hope your experience at the fair is pleasant and educational. We hope that you come several times during the 11 day fair.
