Summer Sips with Reif Rum

The creation of Reif Rum stemmed from a passion for a balanced combination of sweetness and smokiness in food. Reif Rum realized that existing spirits on the market did not achieve this perfect harmony of flavors. So during the Covid lockdown, they began experimenting with rum, blending it with various tropical fruits, and maturing it in mini oak barrels that they purchased online.

After two years of dedication and refinement, they have successfully perfected the rum, creating a delightful, robust, and complex spirit. The aim is for Reif Rum to become a must-have addition to every rum enthusiast’s collection.

However, beyond just creating a delicious rum, They wanted to challenge the conventional perception of rum as solely a cocktail ingredient. Reif Rum wanted to demonstrate that rum can stand on its own as a sipping spirit, comparable to high-end whiskies and scotches. By infusing flavors and further maturing the aged rum in oak, they hope to inspire rum drinkers to explore new possibilities.
