From pets to a ‘Pico Princess’: River City Roundup is back!

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Hey everyone! It’s been a bit since we’ve delivered a roundup of our River City Live content -- so we’ve got some bonuses for you today!

This week, we introduced you to the sweet and well-mannered Boog, who was rescued from a killer shelter and is nearly 10 years old. You can learn more about her and how to adopt her below.

Hometown hero

And because we should head into the weekend with a smile, we wanted to share our River City Plus bonus conversation with Army Sgt. Christopher Carre, who was presented this week with his brand new Hyundai Tucson after winning the Hyundai Hometown Heroes contest.

Carre was nominated by his family and won the SUV back in April but had to wait until he returned from deployment to receive it in what proved to be an emotional ceremony this week.
