Eric Erdman began writing songs at age 8, drawing inspiration from the rhythm of the waves on Mobile Bay while learning guitar with his brother.
His passion for music grew through high school and college, leading him to form the funk rock band The Ugli Stick, which recorded four albums and toured globally.
After graduating from the University of South Alabama, Eric joined the writing staff at Fame Studios in Muscle Shoals, impressing producer Jimmy Nutt and soaking up the town’s rich musical history.
Known for his smart lyrics, gorgeous melodies, and soulful ballads, Eric’s versatility as a guitarist and singer-songwriter has seen him tour with world-class acts and produce projects for other artists.
