JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Caribbean Carnival was launched in downtown Jacksonville in 2005 to share the beauty and culture of the Caribbean with Jacksonville.
This year’s event is from 12-9 p.m. Saturday at Metropolitan Park.
The parade steps off at 12 p.m. at A Philip Randolph Boulevard and First Street.
Come check out the extravagant costumes and energetic performances.
The festival also features a dance competition, live performances and the rhythms of steelband, soca, salsa, compass, reggae, calypso, and the Caribbean spirit.
