River City Roundup: Double dogs, taking Rance down Memory Lane & some tasty eats

Our favorite stories of the week on River City Live (River City Live)

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Hey everyone! We had some fun content on River City Live this week, and we wanted to share it in our River City Roundup in case you missed anything or want to share it with your friends or family.

We started the week with a double dose of dogs (Monday was National Dog Day after all!), then Rance took a trip (and a test) down Memory Lane and we rounded out the week with some mouth-watering treats.

Here are some of our favorite segments from the week:

2gether fur-ever 🐾

Evie, a 6-year-old female spayed hound mix, and Jaq, a 5-year-old male neutered pit bull mix, are so bonded that their animal rescue is hoping to adopt them out together. To adopt, email Alyssa.Molock@ForeverVets.com.

Need a Bud? 🐶

Of course, you do! Bud is a sweet, almost 6-month-old hound mix who is hunting for his furever home. To learn more about adopting Bud, go to www.thelondonsanctuary.org.

Making old-school new 📼

The owner of Memory Lane Jacksonville, who stopped by River City Live this week to show us how they preserve your precious memories, challenged Rance to match outdated tapes to their “old-school” electronics. Rance was definitely feeling the nostalgia. More info at memorylanejacksonville.com/.

Choose your noodle 🍜

With a unique fusion of modern Japanese cuisine and French techniques, St. Augustine’s Lotus Noodle Bar is the brainchild of Chef Barry Honan, who elevates ramen noodles and other Japanese dishes with his classical French training. More info at https://www.lotusnoodlebar.com/.
