Future Soul Film Premieres Friday

Filmmaker Carlos Smith II continues to make his mark on the Jacksonville film scene. He has completed 2 parts of his “Soul Hood” trilogy. His latest production “Future Soul” keeps the soul theme but goes in a completely different direction with it’s Sci Fi theme. Rance had a chance to sit down with the writer / director as well as his 2 leads LeSean Rice and Todd Jackson, Jr to discuss the film, the Jacksonville creative scene and what they hope this film does to continue to help the scene evolve. “Future Soul” premieres at Regal Avenues Stadium Friday.
