The 48 Hour Film Project is the largest film competition in the world where over 130 cities across the globe have 48 hours to write, film and edit with the provided genre, character, prop and line that has to be in their movie. On Friday, September 27, 2024, the JAX 48 Hour Film Project kicked off at The Jessie, with over 35 teams that received their required elements. The winner of Jacksonville will have their film screened at Seattle, Washington for Filmapalooza. The films will be shown at WJCT Studios. Screenings are: Group A - (Tuesday, October 15), Group B - (Wednesday, October 16th), Group C - (Thursday, October 17th).
