JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville University said good-bye to the longest-tenured head coach in their men's basketball program's history Friday afternoon.
Coming off of a 12-18 season with an expiring contract, Athletic Director Brad Edwards and Jacksonville University fired head basketball coach Cliff Warren.

Warren spent 9 seasons as the Dolphins head coach, and finished in the top 5 of the Atlantic Sun five of those seasons.
Warren's first year at Jacksonville saw the Dolphins finish the season with only eight healthy players. They struggled to a 1–26 record, the worst performance in school history. In Warren's second year, the Dolphins pulled off the biggest turnaround in the country – improving from one win to a 15-14 record and a third place finish in the A-Sun.
However, Warren and the Dolphins have had losing seasons in each of the last 3 years, failing to get past the semifinals of the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament.
Warren was 126-150 in his 9 seasons as Dolphins head coach.
