JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The News4JAX Super 6 boys soccer rankings will be published every Friday during the regular season — except during Christmas week. Records are through Dec. 14 games.

Rank, school, record, classification

1. (1) Mandarin (9-0-1, Class 7A)

Notable wins: Bartram Trail, Chiles, Creekside, Mandarin, Stanton, Wolfson.

Glance: The Mustangs are cooking. They went 3-0 since our last Super 6, with solid Ws over Chiles (2-0), Wolfson (2-0) and Fleming Island (5-2). Daniel Moreno and Alias Goldsberry continue to power the area’s best team. Mandarin has pummeled teams this year to the tune of 52-5.

2. (2) Creekside (8-2-1, Class 7A)

Notable wins: Bishop Kenny, Englewood, Fleming Island, Spruce Creek, Sandalwood, Tocoi Creek.

Glance: The Knights handled Seabreeze (7-0) and previously unbeaten Sandalwood (1-0) since our last Super 6. They have Fletcher on deck Friday followed by quality games against Flagler Palm Coast (Monday) and Beachside (Tuesday).

3. (5) Bartram Trail (4-1-2, Class 7A)

Notable wins: Fleming Island, St. Augustine.

Glance: Aaron Kadas, Michael Russel and Tanner Bagwell have combined for 10 goals this season for the Bears. They beat previous No. 3 Fleming Island 2-0 this week. They’re back in action next week at St. Augustine (Wednesday) and Tocoi Creek (Thursday).

4. (4) Beachside (4-1-4, Class 5A)

Notable wins: Christ’s Church, Oakleaf, Providence.

Glance: A scoreless draw against Matanzas in their lone game since our last Super 6. They’ve got Tocoi Creek (Friday) and Creekside (Monday) up next. Xander Heittch (5 goals) and Darek Szarek (4 goals) lead Beachside.

5. (6) Sandalwood (6-1-5, Class 7A)

Notable wins: Bishop Kenny, Duval Charter, Englewood.

Glance: Not a bad week for the Saints. They dropped their first game of the year to a strong Creekside team (1-0), but they bounced back to rout Bishop Snyder. William Rubio and Amare Jackson have a couple goals apiece to lead the Saints.

6. (3) Fleming Island (9-3, Class 6A)

Notable wins: Atlantic Coast, Bolles, Chiles, Nease.

Glance: The Golden Eagles went 2-2 since our last Super 6, a high quality win over Chiles (4-3) and shutout of Fletcher (4-0) followed by losses to No. 1 Mandarin (5-2) and No. 3 Bartram (2-0). The Golden Eagles stay in the Super 6 this week ahead of a surging Englewood.
