JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The News4JAX Super 6 girls high school basketball rankings will be published each Tuesday — except during Christmas week — through the regular season. Records are through Dec. 18.

Rank, School, Record, Classification

1. (1) Providence (9-0, Class 3A)

Notable wins: Bartram Trail, Beachside, Bolles, Creekside, Madison County, Orange Park, Ridgeview, Trinity Catholic.

Glance: The Stallions are No. 1 for the third week in a row. They beat Creekside (57-45) since our last Super 6 and have unbeaten Hawthorne (Tuesday), Master’s Academy (Wednesday) and Cornerstone Charter (Friday) up next before Christmas break.

2. (2) Bishop Kenny (7-1, Class 4A)

Notable wins: Episcopal, Ribault, Ridgeview, Westminster Academy.

Glance: The Crusaders have won seven straight since an opening game loss to DME Academy. They beat Mainland (52-45) and Paxon (65-33) since our last Super 6. They have tournament action up next with Carolina Forest, SC on Thursday. F Clare Coyle (11.8 ppg, 8.5 rpg), Riley Talbert (11.6 ppg) and G Kathleen Crawley (9.1 ppg) are leading the Crusaders.

3. (3) Bolles (8-1, Class 4A)

Notable wins: Dougherty (Ga.), Holy Innocents Episcopal (Ga.), Orange Park, Paxon, Ponte Vedra, Raines.

Glance: The Bulldogs have won five straight since their lone loss to Providence. They have Tallahassee Rickards up next on Thursday in tournament action. Abby Knauff (17.1 ppg), Terrell McCoy (10.7 ppg, 7 rpg), Ella Stakem (10.6 ppg) and Evie Freeman (10.4 ppg) lead a talented Bolles team.

4. (4) San Jose Prep (6-2, Class 3A)

Notable wins: Florida High, Ribault.

Glance: The Storm have won six straight, but haven’t played since our last Super 6. They’ve got Oakleaf up next on Wednesday before a week off.

5. (NR) Ridgeview (5-3, Class 5A)

Notable wins: Mandarin, St. Augustine, University Christian.

Glance: The Panthers break into the Super 6 after four quality Ws. They’ve got tough losses to Bishop Kenny (54-52) and Providence (61-55 in OT). The Blocton girls have been tearing it up for Ridgeview. Nacoya Blocton (15.1 ppg), Nia Blocton (14 ppg, 11.1 rpg) and Narissa Blocton (11.1 ppg) are leading the way.,

6. (NR) Ribault (6-2, Class 4A)

Notable wins: Deltona, Lee (Ala.), Mandarin, Raines.

Glance: The Trojans have won three straight after getting rocked by Bishop Kenny, with solid wins over Mandarin, Raines and Paxon in that stretch. They’re in tournament action starting Thursday before the Christmas break. Destiny Donaldson (11.6 ppg, 6.1 rpg) and Kayla Massey (10.8 ppg) lead Ribault.
