JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The News4JAX Super 6 boys soccer rankings will be published every Friday during the regular season — except during Christmas week. Records are through Jan. 18 games.

Rank, school, record, classification

1. (1) Mandarin (14-0-2, Class 7A)

Notable wins: Atlantic Coast, Bartram Trail, Chiles, Creekside, DeLand, Mandarin, Sandalwood, Stanton, Wolfson.

Glance: The Mustangs won the Gateway Conference title with a 5-1 romp over Atlantic Coast last Friday. They thumped DeLand 7-1 on Thursday night. They close out what should be a perfect regular season on Saturday against St. Augustine before districts begin next week.

2. (2) Creekside (15-4-2, Class 7A)

Notable wins: Bartram Trail, Beachside, Bishop Kenny, Englewood, Fleming Island, Mainland, Nease, Spruce Creek (twice), Sandalwood, Tocoi Creek.

Glance: Just two games since our last Super 6, a 1-all draw against Yulee and a 2-1 win over rival Bartram Trail. The district tournament awaits Creekside next week.

3. (3) Bartram Trail (7-2-2, Class 7A)

Notable wins: Fleming Island, St. Augustine.

Glance: A quality win over Menendez (6-2) our last Super 6 and a 2-1 loss to No. 2 Creekside. The Bears close out the regular season on Friday against Bishop Kenny before the District 1-7A tournament next week.

4. (NR) Englewood (14-4-1, Class 5A)

Notable wins: Bishop Kenny, Fleming Island, Matanzas, Menendez, Wolfson, Yulee

Glance: A great regular season for the Rams, who make their Super 6 debut. They’re riding a five-game unbeaten streak entering districts.

5. (4) Fleming Island (12-5-1, Class 6A)

Notable wins: Atlantic Coast, Bolles, Chiles, Nease, Oakleaf.

Glance: The Golden Eagles went 2-1 since our last Super 6, beating Middleburg (8-0) and St. Augustine (2-0) and losing to Englewood to wrap up a solid regular season.

6. (6) Atlantic Coast (8-2-4, Class 7A)

Notable wins: Clay, Creekside, Stanton (twice), Wolfson.

Glance: The Stingrays lost to No. 1 Mandarin in the Gateway final, but there’s no shame in that. They’ve still got some high quality Ws, including an early season win over Creekside.

Sandalwood (9-3-5, Class 7A).
